Whitney LeJeune, Label Artist
Charleston based fine artist Whitney LeJeune has collaborated with Innate Wines to create original labels that are as unique as the wines they represent. Whitney absorbs intensely detailed descriptions of every wine before she thoughtfully paints an oil painting for each label capturing the mood, color, and personality of each individual vintage. Stay tuned to watch the collection grow.
Influenced by the beauty she finds in her family’s coastal South Carolina roots and her feminine perspective on the world, Whitney works to touch viewers on an emotional and intellectual level – mating form, color, and power of suggestion in every effort. With a focus in oil painting her work emphasizes the dignity of the female form and also includes portrait, landscape, architectural and commercial art subjects. Whitney happily paints and creates out of her studio in Charleston, SC. Savannah College of Art and Design, BFA 2009.
Leigh-Ann Beverly, Photographer
Time stopper. Story teller. Good hugger. Image maker. Risk taker. Thankful for every day.
In the fall of 2014 Leigh-Ann left an 8 year career in the wine business to pursue what elevated her most. She devotes her whole hearted energy to telling engaging stories through moving and still imagery. She believes deeply in the force behind purpose and passion, and is fulfilled by the emotions she experiences when her work touches others.
When not behind the lens, Leigh-Ann will most likely be found creatively planning music, food & wine experiences, playing her guitar, jogging, listening to music (loudly), getting out on the water, cooking, or breaking bread with new and old friends. Leigh-Ann has lived in Charleston, South Carolina for over 22 years of her life, but is deeply inspired by traveling to exhilarating places and meeting new faces all over the world.
Paul Cheney, Photographer
While perched on a sidestage shooting Bela Fleck as one of the official MerleFest photographers in front of 50k+ people I realized nobody was shooting the 50k+ people. Everybody was shooting Bela Fleck. I came back the next year with a business partner (Travis Peck) and we shot all the guests, the volunteers, the sponsors and the main acts, too. Then I went home to Atlanta and shot all my favorite restaurants and events.
Flash forward 100’s of corporate events & restaurants later (totaling 1.5m+ online images), and I ironically realized I needed to stop and learn the basics. After working with maybe 20+ photographers and shooting for some of the biggest companies on the planet I met my current business partner Jason Kaumeyer (JWK). Now we shoot general commercial work ranging from wineries to product to architecture and everything in between. Sharing our different skill-sets has shown me the value of color management, how to shoot-to-edit, the art of purposeful photographs, and the value of accrued knowledge from a variety of sources. Be humble, never stop learning and always be engaged. Green tea and long jogs help, too.
